Our Solar System
This postcard is from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C.
With the exception of Pluto, spacecraft have visited all the planets in our solar system. The groups of the inner (Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars) and outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune) are shown in perspective size on this composite image made of spacecraft images returned from five different missions between 1974 and 1993.
