The S-II-2, second flight stage of the second stage booster rocket of the Saturn V space vehicle is how being lifted into the S-II test stand for checkout and static test firing. The S-II test stand is 200 feet tall with a foundation that extends 40 feet below ground and rests on steel pilings each over 90 feet long. MTF is a component of the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama
